Blogging, Vlogging and Working Full Time

I’m almost nervous to write this blog because I’m sort of ashamed. I haven’t posted on my little corner to schedule for a good month, also neglecting my YouTube channel at the same time. If I’m honest, it’s all just got a liiiiiittle too much.

Following the glorious Christmas break that I needed to damn much, I knew getting back into the swing of things would never be easy. That first day back at work was heinous and the following week not much better. What I’ve really struggled with, though, is juggling everything else in my life.

Full time work, blogging, vlogging, freelancing, maintaining relationships and that well known frenemy we call the gym; where are the hours in every day to fulfil all of these? I’m aware some of those things could be considered options, but I don’t see them that way.

I’ve blogged on various platforms for nearly six years now, adding YouTube to my CV last year and really enjoying the fresh challenge. I’ve also managed to build up contacts in the freelancing world, earning myself a few extra pennies to put in the savings pot. They’re not things I’m going to give up and neither are my loved ones (funnily enough).

So here is my question to you: How do you juggle it all? Finishing that ‘to do’ list at work, scheduling blog posts, cooking meals and, you know, showering?! I’m especially interested in hearing from those who work full time and also impose a demanding blogging schedule on themselves. Blogging for me is my way of expressing myself in a way I can’t in other areas on my life. It’s my little space where I can say exactly what I want exactly when I want to say it and for that, I love it. But that love can’t pay the bills like a 9-5, not for me at least.

For now, I’m hauling myself back on the wild pony that is blogging and looking for new and interesting aways to approach posting – perhaps a fresh spin for for 2016… Exciting!

See you in a while, crocodile!

I completely agree! There just doesn't seem to be enough hours in a day to accomplish everything I want to do in real life AND online. A lot of late nights, early mornings and little sleep. It's a hard knock life! 😉

Completely agree! Over the years i've struggled to keep up with blogging while working and keeping up with everything life throws at you. i'm determined now though to get back into it, after all I love blogging! I'm also just editing a Youtube video which is a new challenge! I've been scheduling posts which is really helpful. And writing them in my lunch break is great. Tanesha

I have no idea how I manage to juggle it all, being in full-time education, blogging, modelling and everything else in between, it is so difficult. Sometimes you just have to give yourself moments to breathe and take away for a bit! I'm sure you will get back into the swing of things shortly! xxxLauren Nicole,
