Sometimes things slip under the radar in the blogging world and they’re just too good not to share with you all. Get the pen, pad and debit card ready because these are all under £15 (you’re welcome!)
Love Sick by Jessie Cave
It’s hard to summarise my love for this book in just words – it’s fantastic. Jessie Cave (aka Lavender Brown in Harry Potter) has filled a book with doodles inspired by the angst and dilemmas of the modern day young woman and it is spot on, some of my favourite examples are here and here. The perfect coffee table book to raise a smile or twenty.
Maybelline Super Stay Gel Nail Color
I wrote a fangirl blog post about these when I first purchased a handful but now I may have eleven shades… These really do last a full seven days without chipping, sometimes even longer. The colour range is huge and the gel effect looks so good that I’ve had a people assuming I’ve had them painted at a salon (as if).
Sleeping eye mask
This seems really basic to include but it has really changed my sleeping habits. I need a pit black room to have a good night sleep and the light mornings meant I was waking up with the birds. My best friend Brogan gifted me this cute mask and I love it – it’s extra padding makes it really comfortable too. It does make me feel like a princess but that’s okay cos I am???
The Body Shop eyeshadow brush
Everyone raves about Mac’s 217 brush and yes, it is great, but this is the perfect dupe at just £9. It’s really soft and has the perfect sized head means this is my go to brush for eyes.
Mac matte lipstick in the shade Brave
I like to wear a lipstick everyday to make me look more alive and distract from the shopping bag eyes (ya feel me commuters?) and this shade is a boost to your natural lip colour. I also own the shade Mehr, which Lily Pebbles raves about, but that is a much darker pink toned hue while this is much lighter – I hate to use blogger cliche phrases but this really is ‘your lips but better’.
