There are some things in life you just have to accept and I have accepted that I will never be Pixie Lott. No matter how many hours I spend in the gym, no matter how many times I may attempt to peroxide my brunette locks, I will never be that fine specimen that gets to nuzzle Oliver Cheshire every night, bubba.
I suppose the next best thing is imitating her look. I’ll leave the spandex hot pants to her and instead focus of that fine face. I love the sixties-inspired make up she’s been sporting recently. There’s something about a heavy eye look that will always be classic and, dare I say it, sexy.
Can I just state that I am completely useless with liquid eyeliner. Perfected winged liner is a coveted look on the blogging scene and I just cannot do it. For this look, I simply lined my upper lid with black liquid liner, let it dry, and then went over it with a black pencil liner for an extra black, more smudged and smokey look.
For my day to day look, I keep eye make up to the upper lid and leave my under eye natural. Here, I spotted a black pencil gently along my eye line and then went over with a neutral eyeshadow on a flat brush, adding mascara to the lashes to make my eyes pop. I went for minimal bronzer and a nude lip so not to take attention away from the eyes.
