An Oribe dupe for under a fiver?!

oribe dry texturising spray aussie dry shampoo hair

For the past few months, the beauty blogging world has been obsessed with the Oribe Dry Texturising Spray. It’s advertised as an alternative to dry shampoo – whilst still absorbing oil at the root, it also creates texture and volume to your hair for days. It certainly does what is says on the tin and is undeniably amazing. However, retailing at £39 for the full size, it’s not really something us graduates can repurchase on a whim. Fear not my flat-haired friends, Mother Kirstie has discovered our new calling… Drum roll please!

Aussie’s new Miracle Dry Shampoo Mega Instant does everything its Oribe counterpart does and more. Sprayed about 10cm away from the root, this formula eradicates any unwanted grease whilst also creating a healthy shine (HOW?!). After applying both to the root and on the hair shaft, it gave my hair added bounce and held a texturised look all day. So impressed. It has the recognisable scent of Aussie products and is currently retailing at just £3.33 at Boots as an introductory offer – What’s not to like?!

Ashamed to say I'd not actually heard of Oribe before!!I do love Aussie Shampoo & their 3-minute miracle conditioner, so their dry shampoo might be worth a shot. I have a giant can of Batiste at the moment, but when that runs out I'll give Aussie a go ;)Effie
