I'm always interested in trying products that boast all natural ingredients. When you really think about it, it's quite terrifying to consider all the chemicals that go into our everyday skincare and why we might react badly to some. When InstaNatural's Dead Sea Mud Mask arrived on my doorstep, I was intrigued!

As a mud mask, I expected a heavy, thick consistency that did that attractive setting thang where you can't raise your eyebrows without sending a shower of grey flakes everywhere. Instead, this was a lighter, almost jelly-like consistency that isn't comparable to anything I've used before!

I slap it on for around 10-15 minutes while it works its magic. Although not clay-based it manages to suck up unwanted oil from my T-zone after just one use, while actually tightening and brightening my skin. How rare is it that these things actually do what they say?! After a few uses, I also noticed it helped reduce the really attractive redness I seem to get around my nose in the colder months - cheers autumn.

In terms of ingredients, there's nothing in this that sounds like it belongs in a high-tech science experiment - pure Dead Sea mud (from the actual Dead Sea, apparently), shea butter, oils and aloe vera all make an appearance. You can buy this on Amazon at a discount too, winner winner chicken dinner!

  2. My current favourite is the Antipodes Aura Manuka Honey Mask :) Use it everyday to add moisture and protect my skin. By the way, thank you for sharing Kristie!
