There's no new video this week thanks to a sexy swollen eye (shout out to my blocked tear duct) but I thought I'd share my current first love with you all - home decor. Remember back in the day when your mum dragged you around home stores and garden centres and it was just the worst thing ever?! Oh how times have changed...

Since moving out, I've taken the opportunity to really make things how I've wanted them. There's only so much you can do in rented accommodation but I've found you can add a personal touch without breaking the bank.

Your best friend is, of course, IKEA. I've wanted a set of cacti for a long time and these are just so perfect. There's something about a bit of greenery that adds some life to a room, quite literally! I have a succulent (called Susan, obvs) to pot today too after writing this post, keep an eye on my Instagram for an inevitable upload of the finished product!

I also picked up these copper candle holders for just £2.50 apiece, which are a touch of festivity as well as being just so darn lovely, with the candles inside costing 85p each - I love the winter and vanilla scents.

My copper 'K' was an impulse buy from Oliver Bonas that adds a touch of personalisation to the mix, while I picked up these battery operated fairy lights (for those who are plug deprived like me) from Primark for just a few pounds.

Aside from the obvious pretties, I've filled an acrylic magnetic frame from Muji with photos of my beautiful little sister and picked up this beauty of a mug from Tesco for just £1.50 (similar here) to pop my brushes in - no need for fancy holders when pretty things are this cheap!
