As I write this, I am sprawled across a hotel bed in the depths of Barcelona after a solid ten hours at a work conference. Being sent abroad is certainly one of the perks of the job but after observing far more many hours of talks than I got sleep last night, I'm struggling to feel the supposedly glam side of it all!

I flew out yesterday evening, have work commitments today and tomorrow and then I am freeeeeee! Two of my friends are flying out to meet me tomorrow evening and then we're staying in an Airbnb apartment until Sunday! Check back soon for more posts about the trip (including an already-substantial sized haul..!)

Anyyyyyyway, I always enjoy taking a peek into travel make up bags, or in my case, beauty bags - I think what you pack for a trip away speaks volumes for the quality of a product because you are only going to bring along what you know really works. I'll do an extensive list below but a few of the most notable products...

L'Oreal Skin Perfection Micellar Water - This one seems to be a bit of a hit or miss with bloggers because everyone compares these waters to the holy grail Bioderma, but I really like this! It's gentle on the skin, removes eye make up easily and the bottle is conveniently slim for packing.

Lancome Renergie Multi-Lift Night Cream - Night creams tend to come in clumpy packaging so I always save samples for trips away. I got this sweet, sweet pot of joy in my Selfridges Beauty Calendar, which you can read more about here, and I adore it. I might even go so far as saying it's the best moisturiser I've ever used, but of course it's going to be because it's bloody £67 for the full size!

Mac Amplified Lipstick in the shade 'Vegas Volt' - I preserve this bright peachy tone for the summer months as I love this colour paired with a tan. Packing this was probably a little ambitious as it's March and it kinda rained all day today but NEVER MIND, there's nothing wrong with a little optimism, right?!

Benefit Rollerlash Mascara - I was also guilty of it after attending the Benefit Parlour launch butttt I feel like everyone under the sun has reviewed this mascara after it's sub-launch with samples on Elle magazine, but this really is soooo good. It has the potential of becoming my favourite mascara of all time - it lengthens, it holds a curl, it's clump free - winner winner chicky din dins.
