HEYYYYY, forgive me for I have sinned. Aside from the usual 'new year new me' bull turd resolutions every year, my sole aim for 2015 was to upload posts three times a week - Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. If you are reading this as soon as I upload (good doggy) you will notice it is (really late on a) Wednesday. Please forgive me. I went to a bloggers LFW party event thingy majingy last night in the depths of East London and mama didn't get home til really late/forgot to schedule/forgot to write anything.

Anywayz, I'm sat here now with wet hair, wearing my University of Portsmouth hoodie (REPPIN') and wet nails, delicately tapping away at the keys so I can tell ya all about that expensive good skin in a bottle we all covet but are scared to splash out. Fear not, KP to the rescue my favourite little eggs. These are my four favourite high ends bases that I rotate on use - of course, I use 'drugstore' (anyone thought of a British name for Boots and Superdrug yet?) bases too, but these are the pricey ones I would definitely repurchase.

Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet (in the shade 10 beige)
I wrote about my love for this foundation in another post, which you can read here, but here's the lowdown - buildable coverage, looks beautiful on the skin, buffs into an almost powdery, silky consistency (I wouldn't recommend for really dry skin) and makes your face look flawless in photos. So pretty much everything covered?

Dior Diorskin Nude BB Creme (in the shade 002)
J'adore!! This is the perfect slap-on-ya-face-and-go base. Ideal for good to reasonably good skin days, this almost melts into your skin and takes very little work to blend. I would say it provides slightly heavier coverage than your average BB cream, but the formula works so that it almost looks better the longer you wear it, if that makes sense? I've already used a tube of this and my BFF Becky kindly gave me an extra one she had, but I am in need of a repurchase!

Burberry Fresh Glow BB Creme (in the shade fair)
Anyone that has followed me on social media for a long time (or, actually, just in the past week) will know that I absolutely freaking love everything Burberry. Last season Anna, Estee and Amelia got to go to the LFW show, this year Lily and Ruth attended - THIS IS THE DREAM. Slightly thicker in consistency that its Dior counterpart, this BB cream pretty much does what it says on the tin, leaving skin looking really fresh and natural, like you having a really good skin day. I adore the staff at the Burberry Beauty Box in Covent Garden, you really can't flaw their customer service - read my review here.

Nars Sheer Glow Foundation (in the shade 04 Deauville)
This love affair has been quite the roller coaster. The first time I tried it, I hated it - I felt like it made my skin look really oily after a few hours and I'm all about the glow buttttt chip shop chic is hard to pull off. I kept hearing people rave about it and I just didn't get it and decided to get a sample from a Nars counter to see if any romance would blossom. Hells yeah it did. I think my feelings towards it reflect my change in skin type between seasons. As a winter foundation, this is working wonders for me - glowing (duh), medium coverage, long lasting and really blendable. I don't think this is a summer base for me but for this time of the year, BE MINE.

What are your favourite high end bases you think I should try?

(PS. In case you can't tell, I'm in a oddball mood. Too much binge watching of Jenna Marbles tonight)
